BII offers a full range of project management and construction support services to facilitate project implementation. These services include contract administration, progress administration, change management, payment certification, disruption planning, and stakeholder communication.
Contract Administration - Assistance with administrating contract
details, including contract execution, lien act procedures, statutory
declarations, insurance coverage, licensing, and WSIB requirements.
Progress Administration - Chairing construction progress meetings, to be held
as required over the duration of the project. Meetings are intended to assess
and communicate progress, prioritize tasks, assign responsibilities and deadlines,
and assess impact of delays on other trades.
Change Management - Management of the change process. Includes processing and
managing change requests, orders, forms, evaluation of cost and schedule changes,
and assistance with fee negotiations.
Payment Certification - Certification of application for payment from contractors
and suppliers.
Disruption Planning - Extraordinary planning and management services involving
the coordination between tenant/owner and contractor to minimize risk regarding
interruption of process or business critical services during construction.
Stakeholder Communication - Services related to communicating and involving project stakeholders in the project. This may involve communicating to tenants, involved organizations, local community, or the general public.
